I feel Vegas should work on saving electricity by using more

Cleaning up more of the air in the casinos would be my suggestion to
making a greener place to live. Mary, Las Vegas, NV
Know what would be cool in honoring earth day if every casino powered
down for a minute. Now I guess for secuity reasons they can't do this
but maybe flick there lights in reconition of the day. Showing they do
care and are aware of the importance of being/going green.

There is no such thing as Global Warming. The best thing any place can
do for earth day is to get the airea back to the way it was.Don't change
vegas from what it is now. people love it this way. But work on all
around Vegas. Clean it up. When I drive out there I see trash all over.

absolutely nothing, it's a con! The only one who is getting rich is
Al Gore and we are getting poorer. I'm all for reducing pollution and
making sure we have clean water, but no carbon footprint garbage!
mary victoria canada I was there in vegas in march and
was appaled at all the litter along the streets, it seemed no matter
where you looked there were those card things with the escort girls on
them littering the sidewalks. So my idea would be for the city of las
vegas to clean up their streets and maybe not allow the hawkers flicking
those tickets on every inch of an
already crowded walkway Robin Maltais Tiverton, RI
Plant lots of trees and sod in the now rocky medians of major traffic
ways throughout the city. Robert Bliss Kansas City, KS
City leaders should ask the companies that supply handout cards to those
street folk that flip snap and chortle their wares to every passerby to
cease for one day Less paper less man-hours for clean up and a smaller
carbon foot print Perhaps those street folk can dress in showgirl
costumes with phone numbers displayed on tummies Free entertainment to
boot. Connie Keenan El Monte, CA

Global Warming AKA man-made climate-change is a fraud! Do nothing, keep

Procure "Green" wise advertisments along the main strip. It's not just
an Earth Day idea. It should be an issue placed into all of our minds on
a regular basis. Remind people that that the actions of one person can
add up to the actions of many people in thier daily lives if we all just
make one little modification of something we do in our daily life that
may be a "Green" wise change. Even if it's just - not polluting, or
turning off lights not in use, recycle, etc. Larry Strehl
