Last week one the nation�s famous nightclub money man was in Las Vegas. During our dinner he asked a very interesting question he wanted an answer from IVLV readers. So, this week�s Readers Poll asks . . . If a new nightclub was to open in Las Vegas what are some of the most important items should be found within this nightclub. For example, what type of music, the theme of the club, hours of operation, food or no food, small - large or no dance floor, DJ or live music, and what else would you want in a new nightclub? My ideal nightclub in Vegas would be a rock music nightclub filled with good looking waitresses and a huge dance floor. James T.

I would like to see an old fashion 80's style nightclub like the old Shark Club was when it was in its prime. Barbara West

The best nightclub for me would be a good southern rock music, little food, plenty of places to sit and talk and most of all no minmum bottle service just to sit at a table. HG. Torrance, CA

As a meeting planner I can only express what I have seen people enjoy. Variety!, Time is short when in Vegas. Money may be a factor..if you want the dollars create a space where 3 or 4 venues are avalible. Food is a factor also. Have you ever been to a progressive party. one "side by side booths" looking out over the dance floor with dancing with the stars, or entertainment. For my interest I think DJ's in today's society is a joke. It takes no talent to have a play list and with the modern equipment that is available an entire evening of music can be mixed and played back anytime. Bring back live music that has some talent. Nightclub owners are trying to sell DJ's rather than paying for real musicians. Bill Voight

Weather its live music or a DJ, pick out the right type of usic for the age group that you are trying to get into there .So many times I go to a club and the music is for older people(real old,I'm 58) or I go into a place that has music for teens. Stephen Goodwin Sedalia, mo

Las Vegas needs a club geared to the 55+ crowd not the late teen to 30yr olds. Earlier operating hours not 11pm openings,no ear busting music or rap just good music to listen and dance to. Richard Goodman Glenview IL.
