Bon Jovi announced this week “The Circle World Tour” which takes the
band on a world tour that will take nearly two years. Bon Jovi will make
a stop at the MGM Grand Garden Arena Saturday, March 6, 2010. Beginning
with the band’s North American tour launch on February 19, 2010 in
Seattle, Washington, Bon Jovi will spend much of the next two years on
the road performing 135 shows in 30 countries. Following in the
footsteps of their hugely successful “Lost Highway Tour,” Bon Jovi will
draw fans around the world into The Circle with a residency at London’s
O2 Arena in June 2010, before returning to America in the fall for an
additional nationwide leg as well as dates well into 2011. Bon Jovi is
one of the most prolific and exciting live rock bands in the world.
Having sold more than 120 million albums and performed more than 2,600
concerts in more than 50 countries for more than 34 million fans, Bon
Jovi is at its best when they are on the move. |

The Black Eyed Peas, the Los Angeles-based quartet and one of the music
industry’s most popular hip-hop bands, will celebrate New Year’s week
with two shows at the Mandalay Bay Events Center. The performances will
take place Tuesday, December 29 and Wednesday, December 30 with both
shows scheduled to begin at 8p. Tickets are priced at $65, $95 $130
(general admission and reserved seating), not including applicable
service charges. The Black Eyed Peas came together in the early ‘90s and
have grown the group into an unparalleled story of accomplishment. They
are the best-selling hip-hop group in music today, having sold more than
26 million albums worldwide and also have toured more countries than any
other artist. Most recently, the three-time GRAMMY Award-winners created
The E.N.D. (The Energy Never Dies), its fifth studio album and its most

The Stratosphere Casino Hotel and Tower will host a special “National
Hot Rod Association (NHRA) Full Throttle Drag Racing Autograph Session”
on Friday, October 30 from 5p to 7p. The session will feature Don
Schumacher Racing drivers with Top Fuel Champion Tony Schumacher, Funny
Car driver Ron Capps, Cory McClenathan, Jack Beckman, Matt Hjagen, Matt
Smith is scheduled to appear. The NHRA Full Throttle Drag Racing Series
will be competing October 30 through November 1 at The Strip at Las
Vegas Motor Speedway. |

Robin Williams, one of the most gifted actors and comedians of our time,
returns to the MGM Grand Garden Arena Saturday, December. 5. The show is
scheduled to begin at 8p. Tickets are priced at $225, $175, $100 and
$75, not including applicable service charges and taxes. Academy Award
and GRAMMY winner Robin Williams began his career as a stand-up comedian
and has created a repertoire of indelible characters, first in the hit
series “Mork & Mindy” and then in numerous film roles. In 1997, Williams
received Academy and Screen Actors Guild awards for his performance in
“Good Will Hunting,” having been previously nominated by the Academy for
performances in “The Fisher King,” “Dead Poets Society” and “Good
Morning Vietnam.” Offstage, Williams has taken four trips to the Middle
East with the USO to entertain the troops. He also has been affiliated
with Comic Relief since its inception in 1986. To date, the overall
efforts of this organization have raised more than $50 million. |

Rumor has it a new show centered around the famous comedian Red Skelton
may soon open in Las Vegas. Red Skelton was a huge draw when he
performed in Las Vegas so it is only natural a tribute show would
someday appear. Skelton's show business career began in his teens as a
circus clown and went on to vaudeville, Broadway, films, radio, TV,
night clubs and casinos, all while pursuing another career as a painter. |

Television comes to Las Vegas as "Live! With Regis & Kelly" will tape
four shows on November 22-23 at the Encore Theatre at Wynn Las Vegas.
Each day they will tape two shows at 11a and 1:30p. As the face to which
millions of Americans wake up every morning, Regis Philbin has become a
cultural icon in television broadcasting. Kelly Ripa, co-host of the
popular syndicated morning talk show Live with Regis and Kelly, has one
of the most sought-after seats in television. In her past six years
hosting with Regis Philbin, she has received five Daytime Emmy
nominations for Outstanding Talk Show Host.

Rampart Casino’s Addison’s Lounge is set to feature the Golden Age of
Las Vegas with an ongoing entertainment lineup that showcases some of
the best lounge acts in town. Some of the acts already slated to perform
at Addison’s Lounge is Bob Anderson, Lena Prima and The Vogues. Tickets
for these shows can be purchased in advance at the casino cage. Bob
Anderson will perform October 30-31 at 8p and November 1 at 4p. Lena
Prima will perform “Louis Prima, That’s My Dad” November 27-28 at 8p.
The Vogues will perform a Holiday show December 18-19 at 8p and December
20 at 4p. |
